DIY: ESCÖRIA

Escöria was formed in early 1996 in the far south of Brazilian state-controlled territory, with a d-beat and crustpunk sound.

Composed of Martins - drums and vocals, Lídia Campos - bass and vocals, and Marcelo Domingues - guitar and vocals, the band seeks to create fast-paced music that denounces and challenges capitalist, state, and religious practices of power, domination, and extermination, with feminist, ecological, and libertarian lyrics.

Throughout its uninterrupted trajectory, with tours in Brazil, Latin America, and Europe, the band has accumulated a discography that includes several compilations, various splits, a single, and eight albums.
